I am a pathetic blogger!!! I am going to try and put some effort into it this time.
Since I last wrote, I have not lost any weight! None, ZERO, ZILCH!!! But, I have been working out, and I have lost inches! That makes me happy! I can tell you why I haven't lost weight. Carbs, starch, sugar!!
My weekly goal is to not eat bread! Not even a little bit! I have a couple of meals planned that include rice, but we eat brown rice. I think there is one pasta night. I bought whole wheat pasta and will only eat a tad. But, I am not going to eat bread!!!! I am going to log my food, and drink lots of water! Also, I am going to take my supplements!
I have my workout planned for the week:
Monday: Turbo Kick and upper body
Tuesday: Run/Walk 3 miles
Wednesday: Muscle Mix and elliptical machine
Thursday: Run/Walk 3 miles
Friday: Zumba and lower body
Saturday: Turbo Kick and upper body
Sunday: Day of Rest!
I do enjoy working out, so that part is easy! It's the eating bad, empty calories that is the hard part! So, it is time to conquer my bad eating habits!

At a stand still
Hey everyone! Hope your day is fabulous! Mine is OK. Kids are trying my patience, but we are hanging in there. The weather is nice, but a touch windy. I did get out of the house with the littles and took a walk with my awesome neighbor!
My weight has been at a standstill at 140. I seem to give in to temptation, especially when it comes to sugar. I also struggle making a salad for lunch, and end up eating bread! I LOVE bread! I especially love bread and butter. There is so much comfort in that. When we would eat at my grandma and grandpa's house growing up, grandma would put out a basket of WHITE bread and butter! YUM! I loved eating at my grandma's! We don't buy white bread in my house though.
There are so many things I could do daily to improve my diet and lose the weight! I guess I need to make a stronger commitment! I think I need a buddy! Or, a personal chef, and grocery shopper! I need to pray for some SELF-CONTROL!
I did a CRUNCH video on Exercise TV this morning. It was good. It worked butt and abs. Then, an 8 minute Pilate legs workout. It was a windy day walking today, so I feel I got a decent workout pushing the stroller in the wind.

Weight Loss.....Yeah! Blogging? I'm blowing it!
Hi everyone! How's it going? It's a beautiful sunny day today! I've lost 5 lbs so far, which is not as much as I'd like, but it's losing just the same! Slow and Steady wins the race! I'm gonna win if It's next month, 6 months, or 1 year! I am eating better, except this morning! Had my mom's group at church and there were tons of goodies! No more carbs today!
Got to take my poor little doggy to the vet! He's not feeling well!

10 lb Slimdown
I don't know if you get Exercise TV, but if you do, then this workout is awesome!!! We get uverse and Exercise TV is free on demand. I've been doing the 10 lb slimdown series. Each workout is 20 minutes long and it's circuit training. Yesterday I did upper body and today I did lower body for 20 minutes and core for 20 minutes. Last week I did lower body as well and I could feel that workout for days. The 10 lb slimdown is quick and doesn't require anything but hand weights. If you have Uverse, or if your cable provider has exercise TV you should definitely give it a try!

Daily Food Log for 2/1/11
Today I ate pretty good. I cut back on sugar, but made up for it with fat.
Breakfast:
scrambled eggs
ground pork sausage
1 oz mozz cheese
wrapped in a tortilla
Lunch:
Salad
deli chicken
1 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
ranch dressing
guacamole and yellow corn tortilla chips.
Snack:
1 cookie
Dinner:
1 pork chop
wilted cabbage
tomato sauce
This is a recipe from Sandra Lee Pork chop Tex Mex
Uncle Ben's rice
The recipe is pretty good. My husband said we could eat it again.
Snack:
1 apple
My coffee intake was over the top today. It was such a cold day that we kept the coffee brewing! I soooo love coffee!!!
I did the upper body video from the 10 lb slim down series that I have on our Uverse Exercise TV. I like the 10 lb slim down workouts because they are quick and hard.
I need to come up with some more creative ideas for lunch, that requires no cooking! Things to add into my salads that give them more substance and pizazz!

Cookies!
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE cookies! I LOVE soft melt in your mouth cookies. I've had 2 today! Oops, and some cinamon rolls too! The willpower is not good! So, a nice healthy veggie loaded dinner tonight it is. I made the hungry chick chunky chicken soup last night and that is what I'll be having tonight. It's pretty good stuff, loaded with good-for-you-veggies.
I have lost 4 lbs since I've started my blog. Not as many as I could have, but more than I would've otherwise. If I could just buckle down and lose the sweet tooth we'd really be on to some amazing results! When the kiddo's wake up from their nap, we are going to take a long walk. But now, I'm going to go do a 20 min. workout! Have a great Friday afternoon!

Daily Food Log for 1/25/11
Breakfast:
3 cups of coffee, 3 sun crystals, 3 tbsp milk ( I know, that's a lot of coffee!)
2 Scrambled eggs with chopped onions, green peppers, and tomatoesMixed with a small handful of mozz cheese and a splash of milk.
Lunch:
2 cups mixed lettuce1/2 roma tomato
boars head sliced deli chicken7 baby carrots
rasberry vinegrettehandful of mozz cheese
1/8 cup of avacado5 corn chips
Snack:
Grandma's cookies (bad bad bad)
Diet Coke - just thought I needed to pump my body up with some bad chemicals!
Dinner:
Lean round steak
1/2 cup corn
1/4 cup jasmine rice
2 oz, seasoned yogurt (topped the rice and steak, fat free)

10 lb slimdown - lower body! Lots of squats and lunges and 10 minutes on the elliptical. (Not much, but I just hate the elliptical!)
Better day minus the yummy cookies! I just love cookies! Especially if they are soft.
